Your donation to L’Arche Greater Vancouver helps L’Arche continue to live its mission. Every gift makes a difference. While L’Arche receives government funding for operations, people like you provide the funding for the programs that make L’Arche unique.
You can donate online, by phone, or by cheque.
For donations via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), go to your online banking platform and initiate the transfer. Select L’Arche Greater Vancouver as the recipient and [email protected], as the recipient email. Add your name and address in the message box along with any special instructions.
We issue charitable receipts for donations of $20 or more.

Your support helps us maintain and update our homes, expand our programs and provide a place for our community members to share and celebrate their gifts.
You are supporting our vibrant community life and assisting with capital expenses. The funds are used to provide our Home Support teams and Assistants with skills training that enables us to provide quality care.
Our members can participate in retreats and other activities that contribute to their personal and spiritual growth.

Ark Builders keep our “ark” afloat by investing in the future of L’Arche Greater Vancouver and are committed to building something special by contributing $1,000 or more annually.
Ark Builders receive:
- Regular updates on how L’Arche (the ark) is progressing
- The opportunity to be involved in special projects at L’Arche Greater Vancouver
- Invitations to Ark Builder events (1 or 2 annually)

Donate Securities
You can make your special gift to L’Arche Greater Vancouver by donating publicly traded securities. You will receive a tax receipt for the full market value of the shares at the closing trading price on the day they are received and will not owe capital gains tax on the advantage of the shares from the cost base.

Donate by Payroll Deduction
You can make an impact through every pay cheque. If you work for a business in Canada that supports the United Way, you can designate your donation to the L’Arche Foundation of Greater Vancouver on your United Way pledge form.

Leave a Gift in My Will
nA thoughtful and well-planned will is an important and helpful document, ensuring your wishes are carried out. Making your intentions clear through your will is important for your family and friends. Legacy gifts say a great deal about you, your beliefs, and the organizations you care about.
It is always a privilege and a great source of encouragement for L’Arche Greater Vancouver to receive a legacy gift. Your commitment to L’Arche is humbling. We would be honoured to receive a gift through your will or estate plan.
How to leave a gift in your will to L’Arche Greater Vancouver? We recommend working with a lawyer to write or update your will. Your lawyer and your financial advisor can help you plan for a legacy gift that will work for you.
